So You Want To Be A Coach - Free
Thinking about becoming a life or personal coach? Wondering about what the difference is between the two? (There isn't one.) Wanting the whole truth, even the ugly parts? Then you need to take So You Want to be a Coach.
The truth is, there's a lot more to coaching that sitting around and talking on a phone all day. There's
- Training (What will it cost me? What are the best schools? How do I find them? How do I choose one?)
- Marketing (How do I get clients? How do I keep clients? How do I get the word out?)
- Your Practice (What are your policies and procedures? Who do you want to work with? What is your niche?)
- Bookkeeping and Logistics (How much should I charge? What do I need to keep track of? How do I keep track of my clients' issues and progress?)
- Legal Issues (Do I need a license? What forms do I need to file? Do I charge sales tax?)
- Days Off, Vacations (Do I get them? How do I schedule them? What if someone has an emergency? How long can I take off at a time?)
If you're even considering becoming a coach, you need those questions (and many others) answered before you shell out thousands of dollars for coach training. And I'll give you those answers. For free.
As you know by now, I'm a practicing life coach. Other than graduating from The Coaches Training Institute, I'm not affiliated with any other school. I'm not going to make a dime off this class. So you can count on me to give you the down and dirty, the nitty gritty, and the deep dark secrets of coaching.
You can also count on me to tell you how wonderful it isfor the right person. I love almost everything about coachingthat's why I do it.
In other words, I'll give you the straight storyaccording to Lynn, of course.
Why am I offering this class for free? It's simple. I love the coaching profession, and want to make sure that everyone who decides to become a coach is A, right for the job, and B, knows what it will take to succeed. It's my way of paying back (or maybe paying forward) to the coaching community. If you go into your coach training with a clear idea of what you're going to be getting into, you'll get more out of your training, you'll have a better chance of developing a successful practice, and you'll be able to make greater contributions to coaching and to society in general.
Because this class is strictly a "community service"
I only offer it when there are enough people on the waiting
list to make it worth while. So if you are interested, click
here
to send me an email with "So You Want To Be A Coach"
in the subject line. If you're in a hurry, get some buddies
to sign up with you. We'll email you as soon as we have enough
people to offer the class.
